We contracted Cherry Blossom Interiors to reconfigure the downstairs of our 100yo house. CB stood out from the first visit: personable, professional, interested, full service providers – and more than that: a team of lovely people.
Each detail of our new layout, kitchen, bathroom & hallway was considered patiently.
Day 1: A skip arrived before we were even dressed and 2 incredible joiners were on-site by 8am, with detailed plans & schedules that they immediately displayed – we couldn’t believe it!
The efficiency progressed like that each day. Regular skip changeovers, on-site visits from the boss, busy well planned work (sometimes 4 teams at our house : plumbers, tilers, joiners, electricians all co/ordinated), consistent contact from the detail oriented designer.
Our 2 incredible joiners felt like part of the family for the 13 weeks the project lasted: they were polite, fun, expert in their fields and so considerate of our neighbours & kids – we couldn’t have asked for more.
As the project drew to a close, the last details were just as important as the structural parts at the start. It was clear they wanted it to be perfect too – and every interaction reflected this.
They managed the quote expertly: talking through everything, so that we knew we were on track, and being flexible to add in any reasonable extras as we went (making clear the price & timing).
As I write this I feel a little emotional. When you invest your life savings in a project with strangers, you know you are taking a risk. But it was the best building experience I could have hoped for. We would recommend CB 100% wholeheartedly.
